Looking to create a study abroad bucket list? Look no farther! I’ve put together the ultimate European Scavenger Hunt so you and your friends can hit the highlights of Europe and make memories to last a lifetime.
I’m on Instagram at ShesATripBlog and would LOVE to see your entries as you complete the list. Make sure to tag me!
Editor’s note: I took many of these photos during my actual semester abroad, many moons ago before I was a blogger. Pre-braces and with a bad haircut. Be nice!
Study Abroad Bucket List // Ultimate European Scavenger Hunt
I’ve organized these by country first, then by points level — but, fair warning, everything is made up and the points don’t matter.

Thank you for reading!! <3
Despite having been to London multiple times and done the Harry Potter studio tour (for 6 hours!) I still haven’t made it to Platform 9 3/4! Gotta do that one on my next visit to London in February. Loved this list and all your wonderful photos. Seems like you really made the most of your time!
Author
Omg! I think the tour at the studio is more fun, but seeing 9 3/4 is amazing. Doesn’t take very long, too. The line always loooooks long, but you only end up waiting about 20 minutes. I’ve been three times!
Such a happy awesome list 🙂 It reminds me how amazing Europe is!! I’ve travelled all over the world; but so happy to be European – we have so many beautiful places.
Author
You’re so lucky to live there — so many amazing things to see and do!
I truly loved reading this post and watching the photographs. So many ‘must-do’ cliches in here too. Great idea and really well done!
Author
Thank you so much for reading! Yes, lots of really touristy things…but that’s why they are so well – known, because they are fun! 🙂
This is such a sweet idea! I would have loved this challenge back when I was a student. Although my uni was in London, so I couldn’t afford to travel to so many places back then. The world seems a lot smaller now there are so many cheap airlines! 😉
I love how happy you are in each of your photos, well, apart from the blarney stone!
Author
Yes! Ryanair and EasyJet made so easy to go a lot of places while I was studying abroad — and I was in Italy, so it was less expensive than the UK to begin with. and omg the Blarney Stone. I felt so brave, but never again.
love the list and that everything has point values!!

wow you are so blessed to experience all these places abroad! i am thinking of going to teach in Europe next year, I hope it works out..I don’t know where to even start!
My daughter is in college and wants to maybe do a year abroad ..so I will pass on the post!
Author
I hope both of you have so much on your adventures <3
What a fun idea! I don’t have many regrets in life, but always wish I’d been able to study abroad!
Author
It’s the best choice I’ve ever made <3
The best part about Europe is the proximity between the major cities, making traveling a cinch ! You’re given the chance to go abroad and you don’t waste time sitting around 🙂 Thanks for sharing the places that every student needs to visit before they head back to home.
Author
So true! I feel like it takes FOREVER to get from cool place to cool place here in the States.
This is freaken brilliant! I was seriously LOLing at almost every caption, ““Imagining” a photo at the John Lennon Wall ” hahaha
Author
There was like no one there when I went, so that one was easy. Still made the pun in person though haha. Prague is PRAGUEABLY the pun capital of the world tbh.
I like seeing how your fashion has evolved since “before you were a travel blogger .”
Author
I honestly can’t believe what I used to wear tbh. and the photos that I thought were cute….#nothankssis
Great idea and fun to read! Thank you for sharing 🙂
